IUH’s 2025 Freshmen Welcome Festival: Over 15,000 Students Gather in Celebration 30-09-2025
After more than a month since enrollment, first-year students of Cohort 21 officially immersed themselves in the university’s biggest annual event — the IUH’s 2025 Freshmen Welcome Festival, which brought together more than 15,000 participants.
On the morning of September 30, 2025, the festival took place in a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The event not only marked the beginning of a new academic year but also served as IUH’s heartfelt greeting to its newest members joining the university community.
This year’s festival featured over 40 booths from businesses, sponsors, and university partners. A variety of engaging activities drew large crowds of students, offering free products to first-year students, trendy Gen Z gifts, and even part-time job opportunities directly at the booths themselves.
First-year students are excitedly checking in at the festival.
Participating for the seventh consecutive year, Ms. Thảo, a representative from Nam A Bank, shared:
“The festival’s atmosphere is so lively — it inspires not only students but also us, the organizers and partners, who take part in the activities.”
In addition to its annual scholarships, Nam A Bank presented a special gift this year — a motorbike worth 50 million VND for IUH’s top valedictorian.

“Unlock Yourself” – A Day of Experiences and Inspiration
At the Student Activity Zone, organized by the IUH Youth Union and Student Association under the theme “Unlock Yourself”, participants enjoyed a wide range of interactive experiences:
- “IUH Spotlight” check-in area
- “Green Station” features recycling games and a circular aquarium experiment
- “International Friends” exchange corner
- “Your Ideas – Creative Zone”
- “Vietnamese Identity” cultural booth
- “Technology Playground”
- “Power Zone” challenge area
- Club–Team–Group experience zone
- And an explosive live music stage brings the festival spirit to life.

A Message from IUH’s Leadership
Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng – Member of the Party Standing Committee and Vice President of IUH, shared:
“Today, you officially become an IUH student — be proud of that. This festival is not just a welcoming event, but also a place to grow, experience, and live your youth to the fullest. Participate passionately in the meaningful activities IUH offers — because this marks the beginning of a new journey.”
