Introduction

Office of Finance and Accounting, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was established in 1976. In 2008, the Office name changed to Office of Planning and Finance. Since 2011, the Office name has changed to Office of Finance and Accounting.

Missions – Functions

Advising and assisting the Rector in implementing the management and use of funds, synthesizing and proposing ideas, organizing, and performing financial and accounting tasks of the University.

Managing all financial revenues and expenditures in accordance with current laws; cash funds, bank deposits, treasury; financial facilities. Developing short-term and long-term financial plans.

Guiding and controlling financial activities in all divisions; Control over procurement, repair, and construction; Synthesizing the annual reports on financial activities of the University to submit to the Rector and the Ministry of Industry and Trade for approval.

The cadre and public employees of the office is 15 members (1 Head of Office cum Chief Accountant, 2 Deputy Head of Office and 12 Staffs), includes 6 Masters.

There are 3 members who have the Political Theory Diploma.

Our achievements

Before full autonomy in July 2013 and autonomy under the pilot project number 902, the state budget was less and less, the tuition framework was slowly changing, while the costs increased every year. The Department has brought into play its key role as an advisor to the Rector in the university finance, strictly managing revenue and expenditure sources. Our cadre and public employees always uphold the spirit of solidarity and unanimity under the close direction of the Communist Party Committee and the Board of Rectors.

Achievements: For many consecutive years, he achieved the title of excellent labor collective, many certificates of merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, was a clean and strong party cell for many years. One individual was awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal, the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit and many individuals received the certificate of merit, the title of emulation soldier in the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

In addition to performing well their professional tasks, the staff of the Finance - Accounting Department also enthusiastically participated in cultural activities, sports and sports and achieved many excellent achievements such as: the first prize. the whole school art competition, the first prize in the green, clean, and beautiful movement contest, the first prize in the international women's day flower arrangement contest ...
