UK study tour: Effective Strategic University-Industry Partnership 12-12-2018

In the framework of UK Vietnam Higher Education Partnership (UK-VN HEP) supported by the British Council in Vietnam and Global Wales, the UK study tour on Effective Strategic University-Industry Partnership from December 2nd to 7th, 2018 for five Vietnamese universities (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Engineering and Technology, VNU Hanoi, University of Science and Technology – University of Danang, University of Social Sciences and Humanities – VNUHCMC, and Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City). Representatives from IUH were Dr. Nguyen Thien Tue –Rector and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hong– Director of Office of Human Resources and Administration.

IUH’s representatives had a visit to (1) Welsh Government, (2) British Council in UK, (3) Global Wales, (4)Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW), Universities of Wales: Cardiff University, South Wales University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, and Bangor University…

The study tour aims at providing Vietnamese higher education leaders an opportunity to learn UK best practices and models and aiming at building capacity for Vietnamese higher education leaders in strategic leadership and effective university-industry partnerships.
