Equipping students with knowledge on preventing school social evils and cybercrime 13-10-2025
To equip students with essential knowledge related to preventing school-related social evils and online fraud, on the afternoon of October 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, in collaboration with the Board of Rectors of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) held a training session for over 1,500 lecturers and students of the university.
The session took place in an enthusiastic and engaging atmosphere, featuring dynamic presentations by propagandists from the Department of Internal Political Security under the Ho Chi Minh City Police, who shared valuable insights on preventing school-related issues and combating cybercrime.

The speakers provided lecturers and students – especially class leaders – with essential knowledge about school security, violence prevention skills, online safety, and methods to prevent social misconduct.

Through the session, students learned how to understand the operational procedures of law enforcement, stay calm, and respond appropriately when approached by impersonators. They gained many other practical and valuable insights.
The training session attracted the participation of many students, reflecting the IUH youth’s awareness and sense of responsibility toward school security and online safety today.
Through this activity, lecturers and students were equipped with better skills to identify and handle fraudulent situations, thereby enhancing self-protection, building confidence, and fostering proactiveness and civic responsibility in creating a safe and civilized educational environment.
