Two projects of IUH students entered the final round of the 5th SV-STARTUP competition 17-03-2023

Overcoming hundreds of startup ideas from all over the country, the project "ECO-HOUSE Green Agriculture Solution" and the project "Business in household-scale cordyceps herbal cabinets" of IUH students excellently reached the top 80 of the student contest with startup ideas (SV-STARTUP) for the 5th time organized by the Ministry of Education & Training to advance directly to the National final round.

ECO HOUSE project "Green Agriculture Solutions" provides farmers with technological solutions suitable to their situation. No matter where they are and when it is, farmers can use their phone to monitor important indicators such as temperature, humidity, water flow and nutrient content in the soil, N-P-K content, pH .... recognize abnormal problems and proactively warn and handle promptly, minimizing risks for farmers.

ECO-HOUSE Project "Green Agriculture Solutions"

The business project of household-scale cordyceps herbal growing cabinets aims to trade in cordyceps herbal growing equipment on a small scale, helping people to have access to suitable farming equipment. The product is an innovative development of artificial environment creation technology. The product’s automatic functions and convenience will help users have a new experience.

SV-STARTUP is a contest implemented to promote entrepreneurship, equip university and high school students with knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship; Promote research, digital transformation, commercialization and formation of start-up projects in educational institutions; Create an environment for university and high school students to form and realize ideas, solutions and startup projects that create value for themselves, their families, the community and society; Solve problems of the community and society, contributing to promoting economic and social development; Search and support projects and startup ideas of university and high school students.

The National Entrepreneurship Day of university and high school students in 2023 will continue to be held, scheduled to take place in 02 days, March 25 - 26, 2023 at Hue University, 3 Le Loi Street, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province. Teams who pass the Training Round and participate in the Final Round will exhibit startup products, ideas and projects at booths according to the themes arranged by the Organizing Committee at the 5th National Startup Day. It is expected that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the event, together with representatives of Departments of Education and Training, training institutions, start-up support units and university and high school students with start-up projects participating in the final round across the country.

The Ministry of Education and Training said that the main activities at the festival include Opening Program of Students’ National Startup Day; opening booths displaying and exhibiting start-up projects of university and high school students, training institutions and sponsors;

Forum connecting innovative start-up networks with Innovative Startup Centers; Workshop on assessing the current situation and solutions to implement start-up support activities in high schools; Final of the Fifth " University and high school students with startup ideas" contest (SV-STARTUP-5th time); Closing Program, honoring and awarding winning projects and awarding prizes to training institutions; Hue Food Festival and cultural exchanges, aspirational speeches for students’ start-ups among delegations attending the festival.
