Training Workshop on Supervising the Proctoring of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam at IUH 18-06-2024

In accordance with Official Letter No. 2768/BGDT-TTr dated June 10, 2024, regarding the creation of a list and the planning for assigning inspection teams for the proctoring of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, and Guidance No. 1932/BGĐT-TTr dated April 26, 2024, from the Ministry of Education and Training on the inspection and examination of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City held a conference on June 17 titled "Professional Training for Proctoring the 2024 High School Graduation Exam."

Attendees included Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong, Vice Rector of the University and Head of the Inspection Delegation; MSc. Hoang Do, Head of the Student Support Department and Deputy Head of the Delegation; MSc. Vu Dinh Le, Deputy Head of the Students support Department and Standing Member; along with 54 official and standby officials and employees participating in the proctoring of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Can Tho City.

Overview of the conference

Speaking at the training conference, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong emphasized that the inspection and proctoring of the High School Graduation Exam is a particularly important task. It ensures a safe and rigorous exam process, compliance with regulations, and helps prevent and detect limitations and inadequacies to address or propose handling violations if any. The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City has been trusted by the Ministry of Education and Training for many years to oversee the proctoring of the High School Graduation Exam. Vice Rector Nguyen Xuan Hong highly commended the officials and employees participating in the inspection and examination of the high school graduation exam in recent years. He urged each officer involved in this task to enhance their sense of responsibility, master inspection operations, avoid complacency, strictly follow processes and procedures, and promptly report to the Head of the Delegation for direction and handling.

At the training conference, MSc. Vu Dinh Le disseminated new points in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam Regulations, simulated exam proctoring scenarios, and provided guidance on detecting high-tech cheating equipment. He also shared notes and experiences from previous years' High School Graduation Exams to better prepare for the activities of the Youth Union in inspecting the proctoring of high school exams in 2024.

At the end of the training session, all officials and employees seriously undertook the assessment test. The results indicated that they have a solid understanding of the 2024 High School Graduation Exam Regulations, as well as the necessary knowledge, skills, and professional expertise for proctoring the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.
