Training course "Creating a business model for innovative start-up projects" at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City 21-05-2023
On May 20, 2023, the Department of Science Management and International Affairs cooperated with the University's Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer to organize a training session themed "Creating a business model for innovative startup projects".
This is an activity in a series of professional training programs on start-up knowledge and skills for projects participating in the contest "Innogreenlife – Startup for Green Life" in 2023.
The training session was attended by Dr. Pham Tran Bich Thuan - Deputy Head of Science Management and International Affair Department, expert Thai Duy Tung - Lecturer of the Faculty of Finance, expert Nguyen Ha Minh Thong - Founder of Cabo Capital Ventures, and 10 excellent teams reaching the final of the contest "Innogreenlife - Startup for Green Life".
Dr. Pham Tran Bich Thuan - Deputy Head of Science Management and International Affairs Department, spoke at the training session.
At the training session, the teams were instructed by Mr. Thai Duy Tung on How to identify stakeholders and customers of the project; Map the "Problem Tree" to identify the root cause, identify solutions, and establish a "Value Statement" for the project; Make a business model according to the BMC schema.
After Mr. Thai Duy Tung’s guidance, the participating groups presented their business model and received feedback from expert Nguyen Ha Minh Thong - Founder and CEO of Cabo Capital, top 60 Shark Tank Vietnam.

At the end of the training, the teams continued to develop into fundraising presentations to participate in the final round of the competition that will take place on June 17, 2023.
Through the training, the project teams had a broader view of their products, services and solutions, considered the suitability of the solution, as well as the practical value that the project brings to the community, meeting the criterion of "Startup for green life".
