The 3rd Young Science Conference 2021: "Young Intellectual of the 4.0 Era" 06-08-2021

In order to promote the movement of young students and lecturers to participate in scientific research, linking learning and research with practice, on August 6, 2021, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) solemnly organized the 3rd Young Science Conference 2021 with the theme: "Young Intellectual of the 4.0 Era" online.

The conference attracted nearly 300 scientists to participate.

Starting from January 2021, the 3rd Young Science Conference 2021 has received the intensive interest of lecturers, scientists and students on and off campus. Overcoming the obstacles caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, the Organizing Committee received 774 participants from 05 fields of 1,367 authors who are domestic scientists, 15 authors from 7 countries (China, Japan, Ha Quoc, Romani, Russia, Taiwan and the United States). In particular, this year's conference was accompanied by the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City and many other famous scientific advisors.

The organizers of the conference were very pleased to welcome Dr. Phan Hong Hai – The Rector, Ms. Chu Van Hai – Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, Mr. Vu Hieu Dong – Director of Department of Science and Technology of Soc Trang Province, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai – Director of Department of Science and Technology of Long An Province, Ms. Pham Thi Nham – Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong Province, Rector Board and nearly 300 young scientists,  faculty, and students attending.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Dr. Phan Hong Hai expressed his honor that this year's Young Science Conference the school has received the support of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City as well as the Department of Science and Technology of the provinces, this is the motivation for IUH teachers to try harder in the field of scientific research.

On behalf of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Chu Van Hai was pleased to see that the initial success of the conference was to attract a large number of scientists, students, researchers and students to participate. "Through this conference, scientists also have the opportunity to exchange, learn and exchange with each other, in order to create more quality research works, more aligned with reality. Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City highly appreciates IUH - a school with a long record of teaching - studying as well as scientific research." – Ms. Hai said at the opening ceremony.

Within this program, delegates heard the scientific report "Research on natural products applied in medical herbs and functional foods" presented by Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thang and the scientific report "Promoting the development of Spin – off enterprises in the higher education environment in Vietnam" presented by Nguyen Quoc Cuong.

The general assessment from the professional council, the quality of the papers attending this year's conference is progressive, highly feasible and capable of developing larger studies. The jury has selected many qualified articles to send out to science and technology journals. Through the preliminary process by con-current sessions in the field, there are 24 selected articles reported at the conference; 50 articles selected for the poster exhibition and 141 full-text articles were reviewed and accepted for publication (Abstract Collection, IUH Journal of Science and Technology-Special Edition for the Conference, 04 Conference Proceedings with ISBN Index)

Within the Conference, in the afternoon of August 5, the Poster session took place with 50 posters on display including 18 majors. After 03 years of organization, the Young Science Conference has really become a festival and a scientific event that is expected every year.
