Seven More IUH Programs Achieve High-Level AUN-QA Accreditation 11-07-2025
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry (IUH) has recently made a significant mark with all seven of its evaluated academic programs successfully meeting the quality standards of the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), earning ratings in the upper tier of the assessment system.

According to the official announcement from AUN-QA, the newly accredited programs include: Automotive Engineering Technology, Software Engineering, Nutrition and Food Science, English Language, Accounting, Fashion Design, and Civil Engineering for Transportation Works. Notably, the Accounting and Fashion Design programs stood out, each achieving “Good” ratings (5 out of 7 points) in five out of eight criteria—the highest score on the AUN-QA scale—and both were overall classified as “Better Than Adequate.”
The Accounting program, under the Institute of Finance – Accounting, reaffirmed its long-standing strength through outstanding accreditation results, with high scores in five key criteria: curriculum structure, teaching methodology, assessment of learning outcomes, faculty and researchers, and program output. This achievement underscores IUH’s reputation and quality in training highly qualified professionals in finance and accounting, meeting the increasingly rigorous demands of the labor market.
Especially noteworthy is the Fashion Design program (under the Faculty of Garment and Fashion Technology). Despite being a relatively new program, it made a remarkable impression with outstanding results. It received high evaluations in curriculum content, teaching activities, faculty qualifications, facilities, and graduate outcomes. These achievements not only highlight the program’s quality and strong practical orientation but also affirm IUH’s comprehensive development capacity in the creative sector—an industry full of potential and experiencing robust growth in Vietnam and the region. With a vision of integrating art, technology, and modern fashion trends, the program offers numerous opportunities for young designers passionate about fashion and eager to make their mark on the industry.
The high ratings across many criteria reflect IUH’s continuous efforts to ensure and enhance education quality in alignment with international standards.
