Opening the training program on Vietnamese language teaching methods for foreigners at IUH 24-07-2024

On the morning of July 22, at Room E3.2, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) hosted the opening ceremony for a training program on Vietnamese teaching methods for foreigners. This program, organized in collaboration with Kaohsiung National University, Taiwan, addresses the growing interest among the international community in learning Vietnamese for living and working in Vietnam. The training will run from July 22 to 26, 2024.

The Vietnamese language teaching method for foreigners aims to enhance Vietnamese language learning and promote Vietnamese culture to international friends. The program, running from July 22 to 26, 2024, has attracted numerous lecturers and students to participate.

In her address at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai stated: "With the increasing number of foreigners coming to Ho Chi Minh City to work and learn Vietnamese, training professional educators to teach Vietnamese is essential. This program is designed not only to enhance Vietnamese teaching skills but also to serve as a foreign language course for lecturers who will be teaching Vietnamese to foreigners at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City."

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Lan – National Kaohsiung University (Taiwan), presented the needs of Vietnamese language learners.

The course is led by esteemed lecturers and professors in Vietnamese studies from both domestic and international institutions, ensuring top-quality training and valuable knowledge for participants. Students will gain essential methods, skills, and knowledge in teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language, while also learning to integrate AI technology for enhanced teaching efficiency.
