IUH Self-Defense Force 2023 training 26-11-2023
On November 25 and 26, 2023, the Military Command of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City held a training deployment for self-defense forces in 2023.
Participating in the Self-Defense Force Training in 2023, representatives from the Rector Board included Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hong, Vice Rector, and Commander of the IUH Military Command Board; Comrade Nguyen Trung Dung, Politician, and Dean of the Faculty of Political Theory; Mr. Pham Ngoc Anh, Deputy Commander and Deputy Director of the National Defense and Physical Education Center; Comrade Pham Thanh Tung, Politician, and Head of the Dormitory Management Department, as well as the Deputy Military Commander of IUH. Additionally, 92 officers and soldiers from the IUH self-defense unit participated in the training.

In his remarks during the plan implementation, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Hong underscored, ‘Given the nature of our work at the University, which involves various tasks, soldiers need to proactively organize their scientific work, adhere to a diligent and transparent reporting regimen to concurrently fulfill assigned duties. Those engaged in the training should delve deeply into the specified objectives, requirements, and content. They are urged to be proactive in their studies, training, fully absorb the materials, and strictly adhere to prescribed routines to successfully fulfill the outlined content, programs, and achieve optimal results.”
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hong spoke at the opening of the training program.
Throughout the training period, soldiers will engage in learning and training modules that encompass team formation, examination techniques for the AK submachine gun, practice shooting exercises with the AK submachine gun (Exercise 1b), and the comprehensive review and assessment of the acquired skills and knowledge, ...
The training program was held at House P – Pham Van Chieu Street, Go Vap.
On 02/11/2023, officers and soldiers from IUH will actively participate in live-fire exercises at the Ho Chi Minh City Command Shooting Range, located in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The primary objective of this training course is to enhance the proficiency of cadres and soldiers in self-defense, aligning with the principles and directives of the Party, as well as the policies and laws of the State. The training will focus on reinforcing their understanding of defense and military responsibilities. Participants will also strive to broaden their knowledge base, elevate their capabilities, and enhance their qualifications for organizing both political and military education training.
The overarching goal is to establish a solid foundation for improving the overall quality and efficiency of training and combat readiness within the self-defense forces. This, in turn, will better meet the evolving demands of national defense tasks and military operations in the contemporary landscape.
