IUH donated RO water filtration system and gifts worth 200 million VND in Champasak, Laos 25-06-2024
IUH - In response to the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos, the 47th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, and the 20th anniversary of summer volunteer activities of Ho Chi Minh City youth in Laos, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) donated an RO water filtration system and gifts worth 200 million VND to overseas Vietnamese and students in Champasak, Laos.
On June 24, 2024, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Youth Union of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City organized volunteer activities in Laos. These activities are within the framework of the Pink Holiday Volunteer Campaign in 2024 launched by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.

Volunteer soldiers of the Youth Union of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City visited Pathoumphone Hospital
Accordingly, representatives of the Youth Union of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City visited Pathoumphone Hospital (Champasak province). Here, the delegation coordinated with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City to donate an RO water filtration system with a capacity of 300 liters/hour, worth 80 million VND to the hospital.
The volunteer soldiers also visited and gave 120 gifts to disadvantaged overseas Vietnamese and students of Champasak province with a total value of 120 million VND.

Mr. Tran Anh Tien, Secretary of the Youth Union of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, stated: "This activity also aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025). It contributes to the effective implementation of international youth work within the Youth Union work program and the youth movement of the bloc in 2024, themed 'Year of the Youth Union and the Youth Movement of the Bloc in 2024 - Young Volunteers.'"
Representing IUH, Dr. Le Ngoc Son, Chairman of the Labor Union, Member of the Party Committee, and Director of the Institute of International and Postgraduate Education, shared: "Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City hopes that this small contribution will promote the volunteer campaign movement and demonstrate the spirit and responsibility of Vietnamese youth. This is also the goal and desire of the University in our efforts to support the community and society."
