Inspiring the Spirit of Learning – Over 1,000 Nguyễn Đức Cảnh Scholarships Awarded at IUH 02-08-2025

In the 2024–2025 academic year, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) awarded more than 1,000 Nguyễn Đức Cảnh scholarships to the children of university staff and employees. This impressive number not only reflects the university’s deep care and support but also recognizes the well-deserved achievements of these young students, the future seeds of the nation.

The University’s Board of Regents presented numerous gifts and scholarships to the students.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of:

  • Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng – Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector.
  • Mr. Lê Ngọc Sơn – Chairman of the University Trade Union.
  • Along with other University Trade Union members, grassroots union leaders, unit representatives, and many students and their families.

A total of 1,037 scholarships were awarded, including:

  • 895 general scholarships for students with good academic performance,
  • 106 specialized subject scholarships,
  • 36 scholarships for students who maintained excellent academic results for 12 consecutive years,
  • 03 special scholarships for students overcoming significant hardship.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng expressed joy and pride in the students’ efforts. He emphasized: “Each scholarship is not only well-deserved recognition but also a powerful source of encouragement, motivating the students to continue striving in both their studies and life.”

Over the years, the Nguyễn Đức Cảnh Scholarship has become a beautiful tradition at IUH, spreading humanistic values and strengthening the bond between the university and its employees. These scholarships are not only material support for the students’ education but also a source of hope and inspiration that nurtures their aspirations for the future.
