Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang led a Ministry working group to discuss medium-term financial and public investment plans with Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.

On August 1, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang led a working group with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City to review the 2025 state budget estimate, the 3-year state budget financial plan (2025-2027), the medium-term public investment plan, and the settlement of past investment projects.

The meeting aims to enhance the management of public finance and assets, improve the efficiency of state budget usage, and ensure alignment with the unit's tasks and compliance with the Law on the State Budget and other relevant legal documents.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City reported to the Working Group on recent public finance management and public investment. They also requested a policy to expand facilities in order to meet the Standards for Higher Education Institutions as outlined in Circular No. 01/2024/TT-BGDDT, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on February 5, 2024.
