AVEVA Sponsors US$180,000 Software Package for the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City 25-04-2025
The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) has recently received an AVEVA software package valued at over 4.6 billion VND (180,000 USD), marking a significant step in modernizing the tools used for teaching and industrial engineering research.
Ms. Pho Hai Chi, Director and representative of Q Systems, presented the sponsorship confirmation to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai, Vice President of IUH.
On April 25, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City officially received an AVEVA Educational Consignment software sponsorship package valued at 180,000 USD (over 4.6 billion VND) from AVEVA Group, a global leader in software solutions for industrial automation.
The reception ceremony was held with great solemnity, attended by IUH leaders, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai, Vice President; Dr. Tran Thanh Ngoc, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Ngoc Nam, Head of the Office of Scientific Management and International Cooperation; as well as representatives from various departments, faculties, centers, and a large number of Electronics Technology students.
Representatives from the sponsor included Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tram, AVEVA Regional Manager for Vietnam; Ms. Pho Hai Chi, Director of Q Systems; and experts from Q Systems, AVEVA's implementation partner.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai emphasized, "With its strength in training within the engineering and technology sector, the receipt of the AVEVA software package will enhance IUH's practical training capabilities, equip students with modern tools, and meet the growing demands of integration and the development of highly skilled technical talent for Industry 4.0."

Following the handover ceremony, the participants moved to the practice room for an in-depth session on the AVEVA software. The discussion focused on real-world challenges and expert analysis, providing students with a deeper understanding of AVEVA's operational mechanisms and key innovations in the industrial and regulatory sectors.
