The Opportunity to open more international training programs 10-05-2015
In April 2015, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City welcomed the delegates of five universities and colleges from the US, Korea, Australia, Canada in order to seek opportunities for training cooperation in the forms of 2+2, 3+1, etc. These forms of training help to save money on learning but still provide international qualifications.
The University of Dayton, USA
On April 10, 2015, representatives of the University of Dayton, the US visited and worked with the Industrial University of HCM City to learn and exchange experiences among universities in HCM City as well as to seek opportunities for future cooperation. Reportedly, the University of Dayton is ranked as one of the best 100 universities in the world as voted by US News and World Report.

Community College of San Francisco (SSFS)
On April 2, 2015, representatives of Community College of San Francisco (SSFS) visited and worked with leaders of the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in order to seak and discuss cooperation opportunitues, particularly the affiliate program of 2+2.
Soongsil University, Korea
On April 6, 2015, the representatives of Soongsil University (SSU), Korea visited and worked with the Industrial University of HCM City to promote the progress of training affiliate program of Master of Business Administration (MBA) and 3+2 Bachelor's program. The two sides discussed solutions for the problems during the process of implementing the MBA program and promotion of 3+2 program. In addition, based on actual recruiting needs of Korean enterprises investing in Vietnam, the SSU also expects further expansion of cooperation program of training Masters. Promoting the establishment of MBA Soongsil alumni to keep in touch and connect with Korean businesses was also one of the noticeable recommendations this time. Ending the visit, SSU desired the cooperative relationship between the two sides to be more and more developed and become close-kit.
Nagle Catholic College, Australia
On April 7, 2015, representatives of Nagle Catholic College, Australia, including two lecturers and 14 students visited the campus of the Industrial University of HCM City and had a talk with some students studying at the university.
Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Canada
Based on the previous long-term cooperation of 3-year training program of Business Administration between Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) and the Industrial University of HCM City (IUH), on April 9, 2015, the representatives of Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Canada (formerly known as SIAST) visited and worked with leaders and some related units of IUH to discuss the change of collaborative model in order to bring greater efficiency and benefit in the future. The new 3-year training program of Business Administration is expected to last for 3 years: 2 years in Vietnam and 1 transfer year in Canada instead of 3 years studying in Vietnam as the old program. Recognizing the positive future of the collaborative model change, Saskpolytechnic and IUH agreed to take all the necessary procedures to put the program into operation as planned.
