Training Workshop for the Euréka Scientific Research Student Award 2020 09-06-2020
Euréka, the Scientific Research Awards for students, is a prestigious award honoring students with interest of scientific research nationwide.
On June 5, 2020, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) organized the Training Workshop for the Euréka Scientific Research Student Award to encourage students and faculty members to participate in scientific research, development of science, and technology products serving for teaching and learning and social needs. The training Workshop equipped students with research skills and provided information related to the Euréka prize.
At the Workshop, there were Bui Dinh Tien,MSc - Deputy Head of Division of Office of Science Management and International Affairs, Mr. Le Ba Long - Deputy Secretary of the IUH Youth Union, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trinh Ngoc Nam - Deputy Director of Institute of Biotechnology and Food Technology, MSc Tran Duc Su - Vice Director of the Youth Scientific and Technological Promotion Center, Do Dinh Thuan, Ph.D. - leader of the IUH WICOM research team, with many lecturers and more than 200 students interested in scientific research in the university.

The Training Workshop for the Euréka Scientific Research Student Award 2020 was a practical activity that helped students discuss and share the difficulties that they encountered during scientific research. Through this Workshop, students showed their wishes and suggestions to support the scientific research projects participating in the awards. At the same time, this was also an opportunity for students and the university to find solutions to encourage scientific research activities of the IUH students in the future.
