Seminar on research orientation of master's thesis – Faculty of Business Administration 29-04-2021
At 13:30 on 25/04/2021, The Faculty of Business Administration solemnly organized the "Research Orientation Workshop for the Master's Thesis in Business Administration" at Hall E3.2 - Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City with the aim of implementing the university's policy of updating the master's program to improve the quality of training, towards the accreditation of the master's program in 2023.

Honoredly, the seminar welcome the presence of Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Tán – Vice Rector of Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Lê Ngọc Sơn – Head of Graduate Affairs office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Ngọc Nam - Head of Science Management and International Affairs office, Dr. Nguyễn Huy Phúc - Head of Testing and Quality Assurance office, Dr. Nguyễn Thị Thu Hiền – Dean of Accounting-Auditing Faculty, Prof. Dr. Võ Xuân Vinh – Director of KD Research Institution– Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and many professors, associate professors, doctors from IUH and other universities who have participated in Business Administration master training, representatives of enterprises, master's degrees alumni and more than 100 postgraduate students

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long believes that the workshop is a bridge between students and lecturers, between lecturers at IUH and lecturers from other universities in exchanging learning experiences – research and practical work; is an academic forum to listen to the opinions of lecturers who are involved in teaching and guiding masters of Business Administration inside and outside IUH to exchange expertise, PhD candidates at the faculty, interested lecturers, postgraduate alumni, postgraduate students who are studying master's degrees in Business Administration on the orientation of master's thesis (in the direction of research and application).

On behalf of the IUH's Rector Board, Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Tán commented that the content of the presentations at the workshop was very consistent with IUH's applied research orientation; expected that the workshop could discuss and clarify issues revolving the implementation of master's thesis such as identifying topics, distinguishing thesis structures between academic research orientation and applied research, and especially the current issue of plagiarism.

Via the presentations, the workshop has received enthusiastic comments of lecturers inside and outside IUH, the students and alumni so that the Faculty of Business Administration will receive comments to update the training program in accordance with the applied research plan, associating training, research and practical application; to adjust the structure and direction of the master's thesis research in the MBA sector in order to enhance the quality of training; to gain a successful accreditation for the master's program in the Business Administration sector; and to improve the research competence & publish the research results of students upon graduation, so that students can study further to study higher education such as PhD in Business Administration at IUH.
