Officials-Employees Conference 2023 08-02-2023
On 08/02/2023, IUH solemnly organized the Conference of Officials – Employees in 2023 to summarize and evaluate the implementation of the Resolution of the Conference of Officials – Employees in 2022; develop specific plans for the successful implementation of the 2023 resolution; at the same time, report on the results of people's inspection activities in 2022.
Attending the conference, Comrade Trần Quang Huy - Member of the Party Staff Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chairman of the Vietnam Union, Comrade Nguyễn Thị Thanh Mai, Deputy Chief of Office, in charge of the Southern Union Office. IUH delegates were Mr. Phan Hồng Hải – Party Committee Secretary, the Rector, Mr. Phạm Thanh Tùng – Chairman of the university union, along with teachers in the Party Committee, Rector Board, Union Board and more than 260 delegates representing school officials and employees.
Conference Overview
Previously, from 26 to 30/12/2022, the Officers and Employees Conference was held at individual unit to summarize the operation report of the unit, giving directions for the next year. At the same time, delegates representing officials and employees of the unit have been elected to attend the 2022 Conference of Officials and Employees at the school level.
At the Conference, delegates watched a video report summarizing the work in 2022 and the mission direction in 2023. 2022 marks many important events for the University after the COVID-19 pandemic. The enrollment reached 98.32% of the target compared to the plan, organized, and well implemented the movements to emulate good teaching, contributing to the success of the school's political tasks; the accreditation of education quality is increasingly going into depth and effectiveness of organizing and implementing well the movements to emulate good teaching, contributing to the victory of the school's political tasks; education accreditation is becoming more and more in-depth and effective.

After the final report in 2022, Mr. Phan Hồng Hải presented a draft adjustment to the content of the Internal Spending Regulation in 2023.

Attending the conference, Mr. Trần Quang Huy gave a speech on behalf of the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union. Evaluating the school's performance in 2022, he said that the school has performed well the tasks set out in the 2022 plan: The school has affirmed its efforts in recent years, has created a high-quality workforce. He also reminded the school officials and employees to try harder to achieve the 2022 goals, pay attention to the targets in the resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels, as well as create a working environment for the school collective, continue to promote their strengths, contribute to the development of the country.

In 2022, the school's staff and employees have strived to successfully complete the set tasks, contributing to the stability and development of the school. Comrade Tran Quang Huy authorized the Prime Minister to award Certificates of Merit to 02 individuals who have achieved excellent achievements while working at the school.

Also at the Conference, Comrade Lê Ngọc Sơn – Head of the People's Inspection Committee presented the report on the operation results of the People's Inspection Board in 2022. Subsequently, the People's Inspection Board for the 2021-2023 term announced the end of its 3-year term. The delegates to the Conference elected members of the People's Inspection Committee for the term 2023-2025 with the number of 03 members including:
- Mr. Trần Thanh Hải – Deputy Head of Planning – Investment Department
- Mr. Nguyễn Quân – Lecturer of Faculty of Electrical Technology
- Ms. Võ Thị Thu Thủy - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Tourism
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the school union, Mr. Phạm Thanh Tùng - Chairman of the Union collected the opinions and recommendations of officials and employees. During the discussion session of the conference, the Presidium received many constructive comments from delegates. The comments were received and answered by the Rector.
At the Conference, delegates heard the presentation "Promoting international training activities" by Dr. Lê Ngọc Sơn – Director of the Institute of International Training and Graduate Management, the article "Strategic development plan of the Faculty of Chemical Technology to 2025 and vision to 2035" by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Cường – Faculty of Chemical Technology; and the presentation "Development plan of Accounting and Auditing Faculty" by Dr. Nguyễn Thị Thu Hiền – Dean of Faculty of Accounting - Auditing.

At the end of the Conference, on behalf of the Secretariat, Mr. Phạm Trung Kiên - Head of Administrative Organization Department approved the Resolution of the Officers-Employees Conference in 2023. The conference voted unanimously against the contents and targets to strive for implementation in 2024, with 100% of delegates voting in favor.
