IUH organizes an online internal assessment of 04 training programs in 2021 21-06-2021
On June 17, 2021, The Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) held the opening ceremony for AUN-QA Internal Assessment of 4 training programs. The four programs evaluated this time include: Computer Engineering, Garment Technology, Thermal Engineering Technology and E-Commerce. Due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, this internal assessment is organized in the form of a remote assessment. This is also one of the forms of effective application of information technology to the school's activities during the epidemic prevention period.
The assessors participating in the preliminary assessment of 4 training programs this time include: Mr. Ngo Van Thuyen – Chairman of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education – Principal Assessor, Chief Assessor; Mr. Pham Van Tuan – Deputy Director of Lmt. Co. L.Y.D.I.N.C (Education Quality Consultancy Company) – Principal Assessor; Ms. Nguyen Thi My Ngoc – Deputy Director of Center of Educational Testing and Quality Assessment – Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Dao Phong Lam – Deputy Director of Quality Management Center – Can Tho University.

Attending the opening ceremony was Dr. Phan Hong Hai - Rector and the Board of Rectors, Heads of units and all lecturers of 4 departments being evaluated this time: Faculty of Electronics Technology, Faculty of Garment Technology-Fashion, Faculty of Heat - Refrigeration Engineering and Faculty of Commerce and Tourism. The internal assessment program will take place in 2 phases: Phase 1 from June 18-20, 2021 (Evaluation of Computer Engineering, Garment Technology training programs), phase 2 from June 25-27, 2021 (Evaluation of Heat - Engineering, E-Commerce training programs).

This internal assessment is conducted in accordance with AUN-QA standards to help training units review the results achieved in the past, find the strengths and overcome shortcomings. This is an important step to help units get ready for the official AUN-QA Assessment at program level this October.

Up to now, IUH has had 08 training programs which were assessed and achieved AUN-QA standards: Electronics - Communication Engineering Technology, Electrical - Electronics Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering Technology and Chemical Engineering Technology (in 2018); Automotive Engineering Technology, Business Administration, Accounting and English Language (2019).
Previously, IUH has successfully had 08 training programs accredited according to AUN-QA standards
