Ceremony of honoring and rewarding science and technology activities in 2022 16-05-2023
In the afternoon of May 16, 2023, at Hall E4, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City held a "Ceremony to honor and reward science and technology activities in 2022".
Attending the ceremony were Dr. Phan Hong Hai – Secretary of the Party Committee, the rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai – the Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong – the Vice Rector of IUH together with representatives of units, lecturers and IUH students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Phan Hong Hai emphasized: "The Ceremony of Honoring and rewarding Science & Technology activities hopes to promote science, technology and innovation activities at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. The results of scientific and technological research of lecturers and students have greatly contributed to fostering the University human resource, improving the quality of training and promoting economic and social development".

2022 has been a resounding success for the University as IUH faculty and students have achieved many accomplishments in Science and Technology Research in different fields.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai awarded the Excellent Scientific Research Project Award to Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Binh – Institute of Science, Technology and Environmental Management, with the topic: Improving the understanding of waste classification at source and basic waste treatment for primary school children – tripod interaction among school, family and local.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai awarded the Patent Award to Dr. Dang Hoang Minh – Faculty of Mechanical Technology, with the invention: Paper shredder, granted by the National Office of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong presented the award "Individual with many prestigious scientific publications" to Dr. Bui Huy Khoi – Faculty of Business Administration with 17 articles published in journals in the category of WoS/SCOPUS in 2022
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong presented the award "Individual with many prestigious scientific publications" to Dr. Dr. Bui Thanh Khoa – Faculty of Commerce – Tourism with 21 articles published in journals on the list of WoS/SCOPUS
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong presented the award "Collective, research group with many prestigious international scientific research works" to the Department of Chemistry and Materials – Faculty of Chemical Technology with 30 articles in journals on the WoS/SCOPUS list in 2022, achieving an average of 2 articles per lecturer
Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong presented the award "Collective, research group with many prestigious international scientific research works" to the Department of Telecommunications – Faculty of Electronics Technology with 26 articles in journals on the WoS/SCOPUS list in 2022, achieving an average of 2.2 articles per lecturer

Representatives of lecturers and students were honored and commended at the ceremony, Dr. Bui Thanh Khoa thanked the Board of Rectors and leaders of the Faculty/Institute for always creating favorable conditions for scientific research. "The Science and Technology Research Award that I received today motivates me, lecturers and students to keep trying harder on the research path" – Dr. Bui Thanh Khoa shared.
