Announcement on graduation recognition plans for November 2021 IUH’s Final Review for AUN-QA training program Assessment 09-10-2021
On October 4, 2021 morning, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City conducted an inspection of the preparations for the AUN-QA official assessment of 4 training programs in 2021. The programs assessed this year include: Thermal Engineering Technology, Garment Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Electronic Commerce.
At the inspection session, there were Mr. Prem Anand, Mr. Wanthep Nakthippiman, AUN experts and representatives of IUH including Prof.Dr. Lê Văn Tán – Vice Rector, staff of departments and faculties with assessed programs.
In order to prepare for the upcoming official assessment on October 18-22, 2021, all units in the school, especially all staff and lecturers of the Faculty of Electronic Commerce - Tourism, Garment Technology, Electronic Technology, Heat Refrigeration Engineering have made great efforts in recent years. Despite Covid-19 pandemic, Self-Assessment Report for 4 training programs have been completed thanks to the close direction of the Rector Board, the determination of the staff, lecturers of the units and the dedicated support of the relevant departments.
Although this is the first time IUH has conducted an AUN-QA training quality acceditation online, Mr. Prem Anand – AUN-QA expert highly appreciated the preparation of the training units in particular and IUH in general. He also wished IUH high results in the official assessment in October. During the review, Mr. Wanthep Nakthippiman - Secretary of AUN-QA conducted technical training on management and operation of Zoom meeting, online interview process for the units participating in the accreditation.
With a rigorous and transparent quality assessment process, the comprehensive AUN-QA standard is recognized by the education system of countries in Southeast Asia. Participating in AUN-QA assessment is a practical activity to promote and gradually improve the efficiency of quality assurance work, affirming the commitment of Industrial University of Hochiminh City to society, to employers regarding the training quality. Up to 2019, IUH has had 8 AUN-QA accredited programs.
