Opening Ceremony of the University level Teaching Contest for the academic year 2023 – 2024 04-11-2023

On the morning of November 4, 2023, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City convened the Opening Ceremony for the University Level Teaching Contest for the academic year 2023 – 2024 at Hall E3.2. This year's competition centered around the theme "Innovation, Creativity, and International Integration in University Teaching."

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu, the Vice Rector of the university, and Dr. Le Ngoc Son, Chairman of the University Union. Also in attendance were the esteemed teachers comprising the jury, as well as the Secretariat of the Contest. The event was further enriched by the participation of leaders from various training units and lecturers partaking in the contest for the academic year 2023 – 2024.

In his address at the Opening Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu underscored the significance of the teaching contest, stating, "This year's competition provides a platform for educators to introduce innovative teaching methods, foster creativity, and integrate international perspectives into their teaching. The event will play a pivotal role in promoting the Good Teaching – Learning movement, facilitating an environment where lecturers can exchange experiences, enhance their qualifications, and elevate the overall quality of vocational education."

During the ceremony Dr. Le Ngoc Son expressed, "The Contest will identify exemplary lectures and effective teaching methods for dissemination throughout the university. He urged the jury to approach their task with diligence and objectivity to ensure the success of the Teaching Contest. Additionally, he extended his best wishes to participating teachers, encouraging them to showcase their finest qualities and abilities with confidence to achieve the highest results in the Contest."

The teaching contest for the academic year 2023-2024, centered around the theme "Innovation, Creativity, and International Integration in University Teaching," is scheduled to unfold from November 4-5, 2023. During the Lecture Conference, the university aims to assess and cultivate effective teaching models and methods that significantly enhance the quality of teaching and contribute to the overall improvement of university training management.
