IUH Exceeds Quota in Selecting Students for Reserve Officer Training in 2025 09-09-2025
Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) held the Handover Ceremony of Graduates for Reserve Officer Training (ROT) 2025 at the Military School of Military Zone 7.On the morning of September 5, 2025, the solemn ceremony was attended by representatives of Military Zone 7, IUH’s Board of Rectors, and the newly selected reserve officers. The event marked a significant milestone in the students’ journey of training and dedication in the military environment.

The ceremony was joined by Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng – Vice Rector, Head of the 2025 ROT Selection Committee; Mr. Phạm Quảng Trí – Deputy Head of the Training Department; Mr. Phạm Ngọc Anh – Deputy Director of the National Defense and Security Education Center; Mr. Lê Văn Hoàng – Secretary of the Youth Union, along with faculty leaders and the 21 selected students.
Notably, for 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training allocated IUH a quota of 15 candidates. However, with high responsibility and a rigorous selection process, the University successfully selected 21 students – exceeding the target by six. This achievement not only affirms IUH’s prestige and training quality but also highlights the students’ readiness to serve the nation.
In his remarks, Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Hồng acknowledged and praised the enthusiasm and dedication of the 21 IUH students. He emphasized: “This is a source of pride for the University, as our students were entrusted to join the ROT program. I hope you will uphold your determination, train with discipline, and excel in fulfilling your duties.”
Also at the ceremony, Mr. Phạm Ngọc Anh, on behalf of the Selection Committee, announced Decision No. 355/QĐ-BQP dated August 25, 2025, by the Minister of National Defense, officially recognizing 21 students admitted to the ROT program at the Military School of Military Zone 7.
During the training period, the State will ensure full benefits and policies for the reserve officers. This support encourages students to focus on their training, fostering a strong sense of responsibility, youthful enthusiasm, and the aspiration to contribute to the nation.
