The visit of Siemens Vietnam 27-07-2017
On 27 Jul 2017, Mr. Tindaro Michele Danze, Digital Factory and Process Drives Division Lead and Vice President at Siemens Vietnam had a meeting with Dr Nguyen Thien Tue, President of IUH; Dr Nguyen Chi Hieu, Vice President of IUH and leaders from the Information Technology Faculty, Electronics Engineering Faculty, Mechanical Engineering Faculty, and Research Management and International Cooperation.

In the meeting, both sides provided brief general introduction and discussed possible and feasible cooperation in future. Siemens Vietnam dates back to 1979, when the company supplied and installed the first two industrial steam turbines at Bai Bang Paper Mill. The establishment of our representative offices in 1993 and the turn into limited company in 2002 are our most significant and far-reaching steps in our history in Vietnam. During several decades, Siemens has successfully participated in numerous Vietnam’s infrastructure projects. Today, Siemens is a market and innovation leader in the fields of Power and Gas, Energy Management, Power Generation Services, Mobility, Building Technologies, Digital Factory, Process and Drives as well as in Healthcare.

With the purpose of having new updated engineering, offering teacher tranings and providing equipments to serve technical training activities in electronics, mechatronics, information technology field towards the fourth Industrial Revolution 4.0, IUH wants to set up collaboration with Siemens Corporation in term of providing consultancy, supports and helps, softwares and hardwares, equipments, curricula improvement, and updating new technology in the world.
At the end of the meeting, both sides basically agreed to initially set up relationship for the near future and details will be discussed in the next meeting.
