Meeting and working with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City 09-10-2020
On the afternoon of October 8, 2020, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi - New Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, visited and worked at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH). The welcome delegation included Ph.D. Phan Hong Hai - Rector of the school, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dam Sao Mai - Head of Office of Science Management and International Affairs, Ph.D. Nguyen Quang Vinh - Deputy Head of Office of Science Management and International Affairs.

At the meeting, the two sides briefly introduced their unit as well as the future bilateral development and cooperation directions.
In the meeting with IUH, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethu - Consul General of India, said that India was promoting the development of technology industries such as information technology, machine manufacturing, rocket manufacturing, etc. India is willing to encourage relationships and cooperation between universities and institutes in India and IUH; continue to support Vietnam and IUH with all that India can do. Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi expressed his wish to cooperate with the University, creating favorable conditions for IUH lecturers and students to visit, research, and study in India during the exchange of lecturers and students. Besides, he also proposed the University to organize online seminars to create communication and exchange opportunities between lecturers and students of the two countries

With experiences in scientific research and teaching of IUH, on behalf of the University's leaders, Ph.D. Phan Hong Hai expressed his wish to support in connecting for implementing cooperation with universities and institutes of India; quickly implement cooperation programs on exchanging research and knowledge; develop exchange programs for both parties.

Through the discussion, the two parties concluded the initial agreements for future cooperation. The details would be discussed in the next working sessions.
