Overview
Campus of Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City in Quang Ngai (IUH Quang Ngai Campus) was founded according to the Decision of 4030/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated 30/09/2015 by Minister of Education and Training by upgrading the former IUH Training Centre in Central Vietnam.
Missions
Train and supply the human resources with high quality and good qualification; carry out the task of doing scientific research and transferring technology in such fields as techniques, technology, economics and tourism; serving well for the economic and social development effectively in Central Vietnam, Central Highlands and all over the country.
Teaching Staff
Total number of teaching staff and civil servants in IUH Quang Ngai Campus is 108, including 75 lecturers and 33 civil servants. 100% of lecturers have high qualifications such as Master and Doctor of Philosophy, including 19 Doctors and post- graduate. Most of lecturers are young, active and creative. They are able to quickly approach advanced science and have the initiative of their own in international integration. In recent years, many lecturers have been given chances to study further for their Doctor certificates in foreign countries such as France, Korea, Belarus, China and so on. They have successfully finished their PhD courses and come back to IUH Quang Ngai Campus to work and convey their knowledge to students. These lecturers are also the core staff for the process of development and quality improvement in training at IUH Quang Ngai Campus in the future.
Facilities
IUH Quang Ngai Campus has dynamic and modern environment for study. It has been well- equipped with 28 workrooms, 51 theoretical rooms with projectors, 3 meeting-halls, 74 rooms for practice, laboratories with more than 500 new computers, thousands of learning aids and equipments for practising different majors, serving for better teaching theory as well as practising for more than 2.500 students.
The Library in IUH Quang Ngai Campus has the area of 2300 m2 with more than 35.000 textbooks, books and reference materials, meeting the demand for students and lecturers to teach, study and do research. Moreover, IUH e-library has more than 15.000 materials of all kinds updated regularly on different majors for different faculties, institutions and centers.
IUH Quang Ngai Campus is of a good, airy and comfortable dormitory with more than 100 rooms and a healthy canteen for students. The dormitory provides accommodations for over 2.500 boarders to live and study. There are also many facilities and playgrounds where students can entertain, do exercise and play sports after school such as afootball pitch, a volleyball court , a badminton court, ping-pong tables and etc in the Campus.
Operation
Over the past ten years, IUH Quang Ngai Campus has gradually stabilised, developed and proved to be a training centre with high quality, interdisciplinary majors, various careers, different fields, contributing to supplying high quality human resources for Quang Ngai as well as Central – Highlands Provinces. Thanks to the investment from IUH, Quang Ngai Campus is developing more and more comprehensively and steadily.
