Notification about changing the process of reviewing articles published in the Journal 05-10-2020

In order to improve quality, prestige and step by step international integration, Journal of Science and Technology - Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (JST-IUH) announced change in the process of reviewing articles as follows:

1. Journal receives articles, reviews and responds to the review results through the online system from 5th October , 2020.

- Website address: http://jst.iuh.edu.vn.
- Account: Authors registered by themselves.
- To activate an account: Via email.

2. The journal publishes the full text of the article after being accepted for post and grants the DOI index after it is published. DOI prefix: 10.46242/JST-IUH..

3. Approval process:

- Form examination: Editorial secretary checks the layout, number of pages according to regulations.
- Pre-review: The professional council approves to eliminate articles that violate the research ethics and content does not meet the journal requirements. The article also is checked for Novelty, Originality, Importance, A valuable contribution to the science or Adding new aspects to the existed field of study; Scientific reliability.
- Review: Review: The specialized subcommittee in each field analyzes and respond to the review. The authors are required to revise the article.
- Conclusion: Editor reply the result.
- Editing: The author has completed the article for publication.

4. Time to approve the article: from 1.5 to 2.5 months (not including the holiday duration according to the calendar of IUH). Special cases requiring assessment may take longer time.

5. The author who is a lecturer at IUH needs to determine the appropriate time for submission to get the approval results which are posted before the school deadline about the responsibility article in 2020.
