Centre of R&D Tech - Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City received award of People's Committee on Viet Nam Science and Technology Date (18/5) 15-07-2014
In the afternoon of May 15th at the announcement ceremony of Viet Nam Science and Technology Date (18/5), People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City had a meeting to honor and reward 9 Science and Technology Institutes and 8 individuals that had excellent contribution to the development of the City after 30 years of reform in Science and Technology field.
The Institutes that were rewarded include:
1. Ginseng and Medicinal Centre of Ho Chi Minh City
2. Biotechnology Centre Ho Chi Minh City (HCMBIOTECH)
3. Ho Chi Minh City Agriculture Extension Centre
4. Centre for Laboratory Analysis Services
5. Stem Cell Laboratory – Research & Application, National University Ho Chi Minh City
6. Centre for Research and Training in Integrated Circuit Design (ICDREC)
7. Centre for Research and Development of Industry – Industrial Machinery (R & D Tech Centre) – Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City
8. Ho Chi Minh University of Agriculture and Forestry
9. Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education
R & D Tech Centre is a unit of Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. The missions of the centre are to research and develop science and technology, design and manufacture equipment in the fields of mechanical engineering, heat cold technology, automation, power and energy audits.
R & D Tech Centre has many pervasive and specific projects such as:
- Computation and design project, fabrication cutter system - salvaged algae, water hyacinth and garbage floating on the river; winning the first prize in the contest of scientific and technical creativity HCMC 2011-2012.
- Research, calculate, design, manufacturing hash on copper sugarcane harvest topic; winning the second prize in in the contest of scientific and technical creativity HCMC 2010-2011.
- Research Theme: design calculations for roller box canvas cover crystalline salt in salt production technology method cut down long deep water; winning the first prize in the contest of scientific and technical creativity HCMC 2003-2004.
