Signing MoU with ASU and EGE 17-04-2018

On April 9, 2018, representatives from Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH), Angelo State University (ASU) and Ellacy Global Education (EGE) signed a MoU to form the mutual educational and research cooperation.

Attending the ceremony are Dr Lee Jae Won – Executive Director (Asian Relations) to the Provost, representing ASU, Mrs Nguyen Que Chi – President of EGE, Mr Cuong Nguyen – Executive Director of EGE, and Ms Nguyen Thi Diem Quynh – EGE’s Representative in Vietnam; Dr Nguyen Thien Tue – President, Assoc. Prof. Dr Le Van Tan – Vice President, and managers from some faculties and offices.

Representatives from parties signing MoU of educational and research cooperation

On October 6, 2017 those parties had meeting to discuss potential cooperation in education and research, for example, join academic 2+2 program in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance and Banking, Computer science. Graduates will receive Bachelor’s degree of science granted by ASU. Following the program, students will spend the last 2 years in USA. On the other hand, this duration could be lessened to 1.5 year without summer holidays. Dormitory staying is free for students who register to summer courses.

ASU’s scholarships are offered for the program’s students with a maximum one of US$500 per semester if he/she qualified criteria given by both universities. To those students who haven’t qualified English requirement could attend at English course from 7 to 14 weeks. After that, he/she could go to professional major and have chance to receive the university scholarships. Students have to pay English study fee themselves. 

In near future, an expected mutual agreement on education would be signed by both parties for the enrollment in August 2018.
