Signing ceremony on academic cooperation between BCIT and IUH 16-01-2019
On 16th January, 2019 the signing ceremony on academic operation between British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) was held in Ho Chi Minh city, supported and promoted by the Ellacy Global Education (EGE).

Representatives from BCIT were Prof. Dr. Paul McCullogh – Vice President, Prof. Dr. Lawrance Gu – Dean of BCIT International; from EGE were Ms. Nguyen Que Chi (Ella) – CEO and Mr. Huynh Thanh Toan – Office Manager. IUH’s Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr Le Van Tan, on behalf of the university, had a meeting with BCIT representatives together with some managers from academic faculties and functional offices.

Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training, British Columbia, British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. BCIT is ranked the 67th on the list of the best higher education institution in Canada, ranked 3567th all over the world by Webometrics.
Both sides agreed on setting cohort academic programs 2+2 in area of Biotechnology. Besides, IUH expand cooperation double training program in Engineering and is also willing to receive oversea faculties, especially to BCIT’s professors, participating in delivering short course training at IUH in Vietnam.

Through the signing ceremony, representatives from the two universities expressed the desire to further develop cooperative relations to faculty and students have the opportunity to learn, exchange and learn knowledge.
