Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City Participates in Lecturer and Staff Exchange Program at Powiślański University, Poland 06-06-2024
From May 22-26, 2024, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) participates in the faculty and staff exchange program at Powiślański University (Poland) within the framework of the Erasmus+ Foundation for European Commission funding.

Participating in this program, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong – Vice Rector of Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City participated in the exchange and teaching activities at Powiślański University.

During the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing teaching capacity through lecturer exchange programs, introducing modern teaching methods, and improving skills in an international environment. They also focused on strengthening cultural exchanges for staff exchange subjects. Additionally, discussions centered around the Erasmus KA171 exchange program for the period 2021-2027, exploring potential cooperation to create opportunities for lecturers and students from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City to participate in this program.

In the program, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong held sharing sessions about the culture, economy, characteristics of the people, and cuisine of Vietnam for the participating schools. The program included participants from 40 universities across Europe, Asia, and Australia. Notably, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was the only representative from Vietnam to participate in the program.

It is known that Powiślański University was founded in 1999, which is a non-profit organization. The founder of the school is the Association for Economic and Ecological Education in Kwidzyn, which is represented by people who have a professional connection to different forms of education and whose passion is to constantly improve educational methods and outcomes. The strength of Powiślański University is its focus on training majors in economics and health.
