The reception was held in the E2 Meeting Room.
At the beginning of the meeting, Assos.Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai congratulated Ms. Indira Lopez Arguelles, Consul General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City on a successful tenure in Ho Chi Minh City, making an important contribution to the special relationship between Vietnam and Cuba in general, between the University and the Consulate General of Cuba in Ho Chi Minh City in particular. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai also expressed his deep thanks to Ms. Indira Lopez Arguelles for her interest in the University through cooperation activities and hopes that in the near future, IUH students will have the opportunity to study and work in Cuba.

At the meeting, Ms. Indira Lopez Arguelles thanked the school for always supporting and creating conditions for the Cuban Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City to have the opportunity to participate in major IUH activities. At the same time, she affirmed the close relationship between Vietnam and Cuba in history as well as in the present time is growing more and more sustainably. Ms. Indira Lopez Arguelles hopes that the University will continue to support and faciliate the new Consul General to work in Ho Chi Minh City and accompany the University in future cooperation activities.

At the end of her term as Consul General, Indira Lopez Arguelles returned home with the expectation to pass on to her successor and cuban partners further deepening cooperation in training and research between the two countries, especially the opportunity for cooperation between IUH and leading educational institutions of Cuba.
