1. Background

The Department of Civil Engineering was founded in 2015. It is committed to train students, engineers, technicians and conduct research in the area of civil engineering.

2. Programs

The Department provides two 4-year undergraduate programs

  • Building and Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Bridge and Highway Engineering.

The programs are designed in accordance with CDIO and the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance) standards.

4. International collaboration

The Department have been collaborating with internationally recognized institutions, e.g. University of Genoa (Italy), University of Bristol and University of Nottingham (UK) in the field of Wind Engineering and Structural Dynamcis.

5. Facilities

The Department offers spacious and airy classrooms for theoretical classes, learning language and informatics and multi-functional and advanced classrooms. Regarding experimental areas, there are fully-equipped laboratories served for studying and research in Strength of Material, Soil Mechanics, Construction Material, Structure Inspection, Geodesy Engineering, and Professional Training.
